Bonus Sloveniya
Annually in Slovenia, employees receive a performance-based “Christmas bonus” as recognition for their hard work. In 2023, this bonus is tax-free, capped at either 100% of the average monthly salary for Slovenian employees (EUR 2,221.85) or 100% of an employee’s average monthly salary (including salary compensation) over the last year, whichever benefits the employee more. Any payment exceeding these thresholds is taxable, only for the amount surpassing the specified limits.
